This week’s regular Inglewood City Council agenda includes accepting new grant funds for the city’s soundproofing program.
Inglewood will accept a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which exceeds $4 million dollars to continue soundproofing homes under the flight path.
An investigation by the Los Angeles Times determined that previous grant funding were spent on homes that did NOT fall under the flight path.
The law firm of George Mallory Jr. & Associates will receive a pay increase from $200 per hour to $225 per hour for legal work their firm has expertise in related to personal injury and wrongful death claims.
Finally, the city attorney’s office will reject an employment claim filed by a city employee.
