INGLEWOOD – A man shot to death in Inglewood was a resident of nearby Hawthorne, authorities said Monday.
Albert Jules was 54 years old, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting at East Nutwood and South Market streets was reported at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, according to Inglewood police.

Paramedics tried to revive Jules but he died at the scene, police said.
A motive for the attack was unknown, and no suspect description was available.
Jules’ murder was the 2nd to occur within a 24-hour period in Inglewood, with another man shot to death hours earlier on 107th Street in Councilwoman Dionne Faulk’s district.
