COMPTON – A judge has issued their ruling in an election fraud case involving the City’s first Latino Councilman Isaac Galvan.
The ruling details four illegal votes were cast for Galvan during the June 2021 General Election, which saw him win by one vote. The ruling now declares Andre Spicer the winner.
The ruling also noted illegal votes were cast for Mayor Emma Sharif.

The ruling comes on the heels of Galvan’s liaison being arrested on murder charges that he is alleged to be attached to.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the victim was the brother of Galvan’s son’s mother, after a fight broke out in Downey the day they celebrated his son’s graduation from Kindergarten.
All parties are due back in court June 24. The city council can’t take any action until the ruling becomes final.
It’s a new day in Compton.
