In typical city of Inglewood fashion, official city business was taking place during the annual City Hall closure during the last two weeks of the year.
First, the City Clerk’s office opened, during the 2014 holiday closure, to billionaire Stan Kroenke, to receive a petition to build his multi billion dollar football stadium in the middle of the city.
Now it has emerged via the Daily Breeze that the city fired the mayor’s former girlfriend/executive assistant, Melanie McDade, on the last day of 2019.
Mayor James Butts has been given multiple opportunities to deny his and McDade’s alleged relationship, which he has always refused to answer.
Insiders close to McDade’s camp share with 2UrbanGirls that she is prepared to “name names” of other women the mayor is bestowing promotions/raises to in city hall, that he is sexually involved with.
On the other hand, McDade appears to be all to familiar with filing sexual harassment claims against her former male bosses.
2UrbanGirls received a Letter to the Editor which appears to be from someone with knowledge of her case against the former President of the 100 Black Men of Los Angeles.
The letter was regarding her filing sexual harassment claims after less than six months on the job. McDade lasted with the city of Inglewood for nearly eight years.
Her attorney of record, Carl Douglas, has publicly stated he is waiting the precursory 30 days to file a claim against the city for wrongful termination and sexual harassment and a lawsuit will follow.
Meanwhile, McDade is preparing to sit for another deposition with lawyers representing Madison Square Garden where her answers will no doubtedly change.
In our opinion, Ms. McDade was under a severe amount of pressure due to her relationship with Mayor Butts, which caused her to not be truthful during the first two depositions she sat for. Especially taking into consideration he was allowed to be in the room while they were taking place.
Ms. McDade can provide alot of insight into the city’s trash contract and whether she was the conduit to his brother being hired by the winning company. Campaign favors the mayor’s donors receive from city hall, where the same employee tasked with changing McDade’s payroll deductions also plays a role in wiping out debts owed to the city by his donors.
McDade could also shed light on other employees who are pressured to break the law while the mayor continues this public charade that the city isn’t broke.
McDade could also shed light on the financial turmoil within the Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce which resulted in her friend Erick Holly being fired. The same allegations of “threats”, made by the mayor, is becoming a familiar theme in various workplaces.
Similar allegations were made by a former wife, during their divorce and an Inglewood resident he told to “choke herself” during a publicly televised meeting.
The bigger question is how will the city’s attorneys, defend the mayor, when they have firsthand knowledge of their relationship and his shady dealings?
Take cover. Shits about to hit the fan right in time for the July opening of the NFL Stadium. BOOM!
