After the “Battle Royale” for the seat to chair the CA Democratic Party for the next four years, 2 Urban Girls is hearing that the party’s new leader, Eric Bauman, could be reading this blog. During the contentious race, this blog reached out to Bauman’s opponent to ask how she would diversify party headquarters. Bauman must’ve caught wind since he has now allegedly tapped a key Southern Californian woman, in the Black community, to work in the party’s Sacramento office.
2 Urban Girls further opined if Black delegates would support Kimberly Ellis in becoming the party’s first Black chair. Ellis was defeated by less than 100 votes. Many of the Black delegates point to their long history of support of Bauman as their reasoning why he received their vote.
2 Urban Girls is hearing a staunch supporter of Bauman has possibly landed a coveted job of being the first Black woman to work in party headquarters. This move would also appease Blacks in Southern California and their ongoing support of the party. The new hire will maintain this support through hosting fundraisers and securing endorsements for local, regional and statewide candidates.
As the CA Democratic Party gets stronger, will it make it harder for CA businesses to receive allowances from the federal government under the President Donald Trump Administration?
Any guesses who Eric Bauman hired?
