New polling data has been released gauging community response to candidates seeking to replace the termed out LA County Supervisor for the 2nd District, Mark Ridley-Thomas. It is disappointing that grassroots candidates like Jorge Nuño aren’t part of the conversation.
Jorge Nuño previously ran for LA City Council District 9 and earned the endorsement of the Los Angeles Times. He is now seeking to represent the 2nd District which has a high Latino population. 2UrbanGirls hopes that residents will seriously take a look at Nuño’s candidacy and not continue electing candidates who are only looking out for themselves.
