Gabrielle Lawrence
Gabrielle (they/them) currently resides on Tongva, Kizh, and Chumash land, also known as Los Angeles. Gabrielle is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and an aspiring music connoisseur. They have an MFA in Creative Writing. Their poetry has been nominated for Best of the Net and Best New Poets. Previously, they were the Managing Editor for TransLash News and Narrative, a trans storytelling platform. They were a graduate fellow with The Oxford American Magazine, Editor in Chief of Linden Avenue Literary Journal, andManaging Editor at The Tenth Magazine, an independent Black queer media organization. Manny Otiko
Manny Otika is a writer with California Black Media and has worked in media for more than 20 years as a journalist and public relations professional. His experience includes stints as a reporter at a daily newspaper, serving as a media relations specialist for a state agency and working for several Southern California PR agencies.
