The Los Angeles Times is reporting that termed out Los Angeles City Councilman Jose Huizar has finally been arrested on pay-to-play schemes as part of an ongoing criminal probe of an alleged “criminal enterprise” headed by Huizar.
The Times has released a series of timely articles, within the last 48 hours, centered around Richelle Huizar, the wife of the embattled Huizar, and 4thMVMT, a cannabis consulting company, just as it was announced Huizar was arrested.
Richelle Huizar who has stood by her husband through many public misdeeds, with the Department of Justice now pondering how much Huizar’s legally trained wife knew that much of their wealth was accumulated through bribes authorities have outlined her husband demanding for favorable treatment from City Hall.

Numerous jobs, consulting agreements and fundraising duties detail how Richelle Huizar financially benefitted from her husband’s business relationship but the feds will have to show she knew in order to bring charges against her.
Huizar was also able to finagle nearly $600,000 from a developer to settle sexual harassment claims brought to the public’s attention by his former Chief of Staff Francine Godoy.

A search warrant served on Google outlined that Huizar’s City Hall office wasn’t the only one on the feds radar. Â The warrant wanted details from several email accounts attached to Huizar, and staffers within Curren Price and Herb Wesson’s offices.
Huizar is scheduled to be arranged later today. Â His colleague, Mitch Englander, is also scheduled to plead guilty to similar charges.
