  1. Thank you for sharing how our seasoned and functional employees are treated. Far too often residents forget real people work in our 9 story building to make our community function.
Thank you also for pointing out that jobs are “created for the favored few”
Residents may find it interesting how well some individuals have been rewarded while other departments have lost positions- important job vacancies are not filled.
A quick search of Inglewood /Human Resources on Transparent California can be sobering ……notice for yourself individual names and their salary increases in the last five years.
Our community members do not have relieve such raises because businesses would cease to exist.
Some should not be highly rewarded to look the other way or cover up wrong while others are eliminated leaving important tasks undone

  2. Yet, the mayor and his yes MEN salaries are higher, much higher than any other mayor or council member in comparable cities as well as much larger city of os Angeles. They recieve salary ibcreases regularly. Years ago I made effort to advise residents, they were not interested. The corruption and lack of unbiased governing in Inglewood seems not to interest residents., as it has gone on for MANY years. The last election a non resident ran, which precluded the concept of separation of church and government. During this pandemic elected officials have been SILENT, missing in action while the rate of infection is enormously unbelieveably hugher than any other city in the So. Bay or surrounding area. Yet unless it is 4 personal publicity , Inglewood govt. has been essentially silent. The appearance of corruption
and favortism has been out of control in this city for years. The stadium and the city not ensuring those residents nearby bearing the financial burden of upkeep ignored by BILLIONAIRES and not planned appropriately for is criminal. Begging Billionaires and filling out mounds of paperwork to be considered to correcrt the danage to our surrouding home that were here is not ok

  3. My daughter works at IUSD for about 10 yrs and they refuse to give full time hrs. My issue however is that Mayor of Los Angeles and the Mayor of Long Beach both helped their constituents who need it help with rent during the pandemic with Mayor Garcetti also giving a stimulus. What did Butts do ? Oh he pit up a sign saying Welcome to Inglewood and now I know helping certain people.

  4. Butts is running some “real n***a s**t” in Inglewood! Giving his “booty calls” created positions and enormous salaries. He has Inglewood duped so far, but in a bit they’re gonna bust his petty political a**! He’s really forgetting who and what he Is! They’ll be hauling his dumb ass off to jail like they do all “slick as a penny with a hole in it” tricks in politics!

  5. @2Urbangirls no need for name calling. DO BETTER!

In my opinion, I just don’t think a person should spend their time complaining about a job with benefits and a pension, especially right now, when unemployment numbers are at record highs.

I personally think they should spend their time applying for a new job, updating their resume or taking a college class to better themselves, instead of writing a letter to your blog. That’s all I’m saying.

      1. @2Urbangirls I personally think working for Mayor Butts in So-Cal would be better than working for President Trump in DC, but if you want to make the federal job recommendation OK.

        LOL.

        1. I look at it from a very different perspective…It is an employers responsibility to ensure employees have a safe work environment free from discrimination and harassment.
          (Not limited to these examples)
Its their right under the law. And if a contract has been negotiated it should be upheld and enforced. And there are guidelines for promotions on the job as well. There would be no benefits, minimum wage, labor laws, retirement benefits, health insurance, or pensions etc. if workers had not complained. If the expecting mother who was fired from her job due to her pregnancy had not complained and just went away wuitely and found another job therewould be no FMLA. SO, if there is a legitimate disparity on the job speak up! Its your right…my 3 cent worth

    1. So out all that she expressed in this .. all you can say something about is the Name calling ..All the hooking and crook ing going on WOW Small Mind ..Da rk Heart

  6. THERE WILL BE A REORGANIZATION OF ADMINISTRATION/RESIDENTS CAN CONTROL ELECTED LEADERS/ MAYOR BUTTS HAS BOUGHT DOTSON/PADILLA VOTES WITH LOANS TO GE ELECTED / THIS IS A POLITICALLY NAIVE COMMUNITY/ 3 VOTES CONTROL COUNCIL NOT ILLEGAL JIMMY NOT A POLITICIAN/ HAD TO DANCE WITH CONTRIBUTORS MAJOR/ LIKE GOING TO A DANCE U GOT TO DANCE WITH WAT U BRUNG/ THIS IS INGLEWOOD SINCE 1963 WHEN I MOVED HERE/ONLY THING IS MORE NOISE/ VOTE VOTE VOTE GET THE FACTS DEMAND 7 PM MEETINGS INGLEWOOD IS STILL THE JEWEL OF THE SOUTH BAY AND WILL THRIVE AND SHINE

    1. Sounds like someone is liking on Mayor Butts i have met him and he’s a very decent man. Now what’s relly going on with /You. If you that mad quite and go look for a job else where. You sound just like a hater. Stop talking so much, thats you whole problem you like to start stuff.

  7. @2UrbanGirls be sure to tell “TIRED OF THE BS” he/she can quit their City Hall job if they’re really tired.

I’m sure no one is holding a gun to their head making them go to work everyday.

If you don’t like your job spend time finding a new one, instead of spending time complaining.

Also, in this day and age most companies have surveillance cameras, monitor employee emails, phone calls and badges and have policies about what is allowed and what is not.

      1. Oh my doesn’’t that sound like the perfect council member or executive staff qualification – someone only capable of continuous praise and unwavering loyalty willing to spend more tax dollars for hostile workplace lawsuits
