We appreciate your professionalism with your August 10th article that handled both the current dire situation at the City and the incredible public speech that Councilmember Hilton gave live at the August 3rd City Council meeting.
He gave a voice and exposed to all the voiceless people who have been oppressed by the infamous “Carson Karen” Sharon Landers and her sidekick HR embezzler Faye Moseley.
The City Council responded to your article and took the allegations seriously.
As a result, the City Attorney presented action on the September 7th Council meeting and was able to get approval for a law firm to start internal investigations of discrimination, harassment and bullying by the City Manager.
This follow-up article will tell the residents and employees of Carson that their voices have been heard and that 2UrbanGirls article played a major role in making sure these vulgar actions don’t go unchecked.
Residents should expect a report to the City Council at a November council meeting. We know a report will be provided to the City Attorney and the Mayor holding them accountable and sharing with all of us. The law firm (Oppenheimer Investigation Group) will produce a report that Carson residents can see and read.
We, as residents and taxpayers will not tolerate discrimination, bullying and harassment in our City and anyone who is silent is guilty like the “Carson Karen” Sharon Landers.
