Inglewood employee still on payroll despite being walked off job

Transparent California has finally released 2018 salaries for the city of Inglewood and 2UrbanGirls is surprised to see familiar employees were STILL on the city’s payroll, in 2018, despite being walked off the job 2-3 years prior.
Former Assistant City Manager Mike Falkow was walked off the job, a couple of years ago, and is still earning $404,000 in combined salary and benefits. It was well known by city employees he was in Mayor James Butts crosshairs when it came to police contract negotiations a few years ago.
Falkow held the honor of being the Inglewood Police Department’s sole reserve officer from 2014-2016.
According to Falkow’s LinkedIn profile, he has been an adjunct professor for the last five years.
Melanie McDade’s salary and benefits increasedin 2018 by $40,000 to $385,948.
Detective Loren Robinson was walked off the job, in 2015, and continued to earn $258k in salary and benefits three years later.
