  1. Am I the only one who thought Donita Winn was Black or half black? She won’t even tell us if she Republican or Democrat. Donita we want to know your party affiliation; Julie write about that.

    1. What does that (being black or not) have to do with anything? Seriously!!!! Seriously!!! Why do you need to know her part affiliation? Next you’ll want to know if she is Catholic or Protestant!! And this, people is what’s wrong with America!

      1. it matters when you live in a city that has history of white students in blackface, white teachers taking photos hold nooses in the staff lounge and a black guy randomly hanging from a tree across from city hall. yes i needed to now if Donita Winn is white or black.

  2. I personally reached out to Julie was Drake to give her information as a Mayoral candidate for Palmdale because I observed an article she wrote concerning the Mayoral candidates. In the article, she said nothing about me. I let her know who I was, my qualifications, as well as directed her to my Mayoral campaign website. Yet. Ms. Drake has written nothing about my Mayoral race. This is an intricate element of the long standing Voter Suppression in the AV, preferably Palmdale. The only article that I saw concerning the Mayoral race included the incumbent, Hofbauer, Councilmen Loa and Austin Bishop. A true journalist is fair and objective and covers all pertinent news. There has to be a change in this racist city. Discrimination is running rapid in City politics and those agencies who partner with City Council. A change is going to come.

    1. I apologize for the typos. The word was needs to be omitted between Julie Drake’s name in the very first sentence of my comment. I also meant to say running rampid rather than rapid. Palmdale needs a change. The Voter Suppression in this city is getting exposed.
