HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Tina McKinnor is our inaugural “Urban Girl of the Month”. McKinnor founded the McKinnor Group in February of 2007. Prior to serving as District Director for the 51st Assembly District, Tina was a Political Accounts Supervisor with Kaufman Legal Group, where she prepared campaign disclosure reports and managing campaign accounts for numerous federal, state and local candidates and political committees.

McKinnor recently served as District Director for former 62nd Assemblymember Steve Bradford and was very instrumental in the election of his successor, Autumn Burke. McKinnor will join Burke’s office in the same capacity.
McKinnor began her career as a public servant working for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, where she gained extensive accounting, auditing and compliance experience overseeing the distribution of funding to K-12 and Community Colleges. She also worked as an Eligibility Worker in the County Department of Social Services, determining eligibility for medi-cal benefits, food stamps and child care, and identifying candidates for domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health counseling.
The firm has expertise ranging from auditing, bookkeeping and compliance for your campaign or PAC.
McKinnor has worked on behalf of a wide range of political campaigns and committees and we won’t hold it against her that Basil Kimbrew’s California Friends of the African American Caucus, is listed as a client.
Tina McKinnor is a shining example of the longevity one can obtain in politics by working behind the scenes. More importantly, she is an example to women of color that they too can succeed in the male dominated world of politics. She is also alumni of my alma mater, California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, CA.
