COMPTON – A male victim was wounded Saturday evening in a shooting at the Compton Car Wash. The shooting was reported at 6:43 p.m. at the car wash at North Bradfield and Rosecrans avenues, according to Ronald Rodil of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The victim was shot in the head and driven to a hospital in unknown condition, Rodil said, adding that an investigation was underway.

Officers were called at approximately 10:30 p.m. to 5333 Hyde St. where they found a woman estimated to be between 35-40 years old suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison. Witnesses told police a four-door sedan with tinted windows drove up to the woman and someone inside the sedan fired several shots indiscriminately. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
