College Offers Many Free Resources to Support Students’ Success
Registration is open for all students at Compton College for the spring semester 2026, which begins on February 14, 2026. Students may visit the Welcome Center in the Student Services Building, Room 114A, Monday-Friday to get in-person assistance with the enrollment and class registration process. Compton College counselors and staff are available to assist prospective students with the admissions application, registration for classes, and completion/submission of applications for financial aid.
During winter recess from December 24, 2025 through January 1, 2026, students may enroll and register for spring 2026 classes online 24 hours per day at www.compton.edu, even though campus will be closed.

Enrolled students have access to a complete menu of support services to help them succeed. Compton College provides financial, academic, and technical support for those in need such as financial aid, tutoring, book vouchers, free laptop and Wi-fi hotspot loans, free MetroGo Pass for transportation, free parking pass, one free meal per day at the on-campus Everytable café, an on-campus food pantry and $20 in vouchers to use at the weekly Farmers’ Market, student health center, and referrals for those with housing insecurity.

New students may apply and register online, 24 hours per day via the Compton College website www.compton.edu. For new students, it takes four easy steps to apply online and enroll at Compton College.
