LOS ANGELES – Four men were hospitalized after they were shot by suspects in a car in the Winnetka area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at 10:19 p.m. Sunday at Saticoy Street and Oso Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The men were standing on the sidewalk when a car with three to five men inside pulled up and someone asked them where they were from, he said.
The suspects in the vehicle then fired shots at the men, wounding them, the spokesman said.
Paramedics took the four victims to a hospital, where three had stable vital signs and the condition of the fourth was not available, he said.
According to videographers on the scene, LAPD broadcast a description: three to four black males fired from a white four-door Toyota sedan. The weapon was described as a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
