TUJUNGA – An approximately 50-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle near the Hansen Dam Recreation Area Thursday evening.
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were called at 8:34 p.m. to 11738 Foothill Blvd., near Osbourne Street, regarding a collision, LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not released.
The cause of the crash will be investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.
