COMPTON – A man was shot to death inside a Compton beauty supply store Sunday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies with the Compton Station responded to reports of shots fired in the 1300 block of E. Alondra Ave. around 3:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, the man was believed to be experiencing a mental health crisis when he entered Pink Beauty Supply Store.
According to videographers on the scene, a female shopper then pulled out a handgun and shot and killed the victim.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. There are no reports of any arrests at this time.
