INGLEWOOD – Fire crews battled a commercial fire in Inglewood Friday morning at a shuttered bargain store.

The fire reportedly broke out at a commercial building in the 4300 block of W. Century Blvd. at 10:29, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
According to NBC4, firefighters pulled out bags of marijuana from the commercial building where massive fire broke out that caused the roof to collapse.
The city of Inglewood does not allow either the cultivation or selling of marijuana within city limits.
The exact location of the fire is 4323 W. Century Blvd. and according to property records is owned by the Kazumi Kim Trust. She also owns a neighboring property at 4319 W. Century Blvd.
Rescue ambulances were summoned to the scene, but a department spokesman had no immediate word on injuries.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries when the roof caved in, according to ABC7.
Firefighters were battling the blaze in defensive mode, pouring water on the flames from outside the structure, according to a spokesman, who said it was unclear what was housed in the building.
It was reported the roof caved in under the pressure from the fire. Building permit records indicate the owner did repairs to the roof in 2017.
Century Blvd. is undergoing massive renovations due to the proximity to the Sports and Entertainment District that houses the Intuit Dome, Kia Forum and SoFi Stadium.

Two blocks East at the Trade Winds Adventurer Hotel, in the 4200 block of. W. Century Blvd., the Inglewood City Council approved plans to build a massive 150 foot tall hotel.
The proposed project, which comes from an entity linked to Gregory Peck of Beverly Hills-based Crescent Hotel Group, would rise at 4200 W. Century Boulevard, replacing the 135-room Tradewinds Hotel. Plans call for the construction of a new 13-story, 335,000-square-foot building containing:
- 11 condominiums on floors 9-12;
- 118 extended-stay hotel rooms on floors 7-12;
- 175 hotel rooms on floors 3-6; and
- event space, a lobby, a bar, and restaurant space on floors 1-2.
Plans also call for parking for 915 vehicles, located across a seven-level, partially subterranean garage.
The behemoth hotel will allow guests to look into the backyards of all the residential homes in the surrounding areas.
The proposed project, slated to stand up to 150 feet, is being designed by CallisonRTKL. Renderings portray a contemporary design, with a building wrapped by digital displays on its lower levels.
