At about 5 p.m. Friday, a black 2011 to 2018 Audi Q3 that was westbound on Pico Boulevard struck the Los Angeles-area resident, who was crossing southbound on Fox Hills Drive in a marked crosswalk, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Manucharyan was crossing the street with her husband, who was able to reach the median, the family told KTLA5. Family members rushed to the scene, including granddaughter, Tatiana Vershinina, who told the station “I saw her, it was traumatizing. I can’t even get the image out of my head.”
The vehicle fled the location, and arriving paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
“Our hearts are shattered. Rima was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always put others first,” the Go Fund Me page reads. “She brought light, warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She leaves behind her husband, four children and five grandchildren.”
A $50,000 reward may be available to those who provide information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise of those responsible for fatal hit-and-run accidents.
