PARAMOUNT – A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash this morning in Paramount, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics dispatched at 2:06 a.m. Sunday to East Alondra Boulevard and South Garfield Avenue reported one person dead at the scene, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer.
There were no transports to a hospital, he said.
The crash involved a pickup truck and a sedan, according to a watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood station.
One of the motorists fled the scene on foot after the crash, she said. No further information was immediately available.
