LONG BEACH – A man was found dead on a San Diego (405) Freeway off-ramp in Long Beach Saturday.
The body was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 1:18 a.m. Saturday on the Cherry Avenue off-ramp from the southbound San Diego Freeway. The person reporting the body said they could see legs in off-ramp lanes.
The driver of a blue Nissan Pathfinder told the CHP the vehicle had damage to the passenger window and side mirror and might have struck the pedestrian.
It was also reported to the CHP that multiple vehicles ran over the male.
The off-ramp was closed for the CHP’s investigation.
