MONTEBELLO – A man riding a scooter was killed Saturday in a crash involving two other vehicles in Montebello.
The crash occurred about 11:25 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Garfield Avenue, according to the Montebello Police Department.
One of the vehicles in the crash rolled over, police said.
The scooter rider was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.
The man’s name was withheld pending family notification.
Garfield Avenue was shut down until about 8 p.m. between Hay Street and Madison Avenue while police investigated the crash.
