LOS ANGELES – A 43-year-old man who was shot to death in front of a convenience store in the Westlake area of Los Angeles was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
The shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in front of a 7- Eleven at Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar.
Samuel Romano was identified by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as the victim of the shooting after arriving LAPD officers found him lying on a sidewalk.
Romano died at the scene, Cuellar said.
Suspect information was not immediately available.
