SAN PEDRO – One person was killed and another injured in a shooting near a hamburger stand in San Pedro Thursday.
The shooting was reported around 1:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of Pacific Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man in his 40s was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to the LAFD.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting, as the Los Angeles Police Department continued investigating Thursday afternoon.
There was no immediate information on a possible suspect.
