ALHAMBRA – One ticket worth $427,952 was sold in Monday evening’s Powerball drawing.
The ticket was sold in California at an Alhambra 7-Eleven in the 500 block of S. Chapel Ave. and matched five numbers but not the Powerball number.
No tickets were sold matching all six numbers, according to lottery officials.
The numbers drawn in Monday evening’s Powerball lottery were 30, 33, 40, 43, 52 and the Powerball number was 25.
Wednesday’s jackpot grows to an estimated $65 million.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
