LOS ANGELES – A man on a bicycle was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Broadway-Manchester area of South Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at about 11:10 p.m. Sunday in the intersection of Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Both the bicycle and the car were westbound on Century Boulevard when the car allegedly struck the bicyclist and the driver did not stop, the officer said.

There was no description of the suspect vehicle, the officer said.
News video from the scene showed a twisted bicycle in the middle of the street and a white police canopy on the right side.
