SANTA ANA – A police officer was treated and released from a hospital Saturday following a crash between his patrol SUV and a civilian’s car in Santa Ana, authorities said.
The SUV rolled over during the crash, which occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Sullivan and First streets, according to a Santa Ana Police Department watch commander.
The officer was the lone occupant inside his SUV. The driver of the civilian vehicle was treated at the scene of the accident, police said.
