LONG BEACH – A man was fatally stabbed Monday in Long Beach, and police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Officers responded to the 200 block of West Wardlow Road around 7:40 a.m. after reports of a stabbing, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Officers gave the man aid until Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
“Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are conducting the investigation,” police said in a statement.
The victim’s name was withheld pending family notification. Detectives had not determined a motive and were still investigating Monday afternoon.
