EAST LOS ANGELES – A 33-year-old man who was fatally shot in the unincorporated area of City Terrace in East Los Angeles was identified by county authorities Thursday.
Danny Candelario was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as the victim. Candelario was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Deputies were called to the 1100 block of North Eastman Avenue between Meisner Street and North Gage Avenue at 11:03 p.m. Friday, where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding Candelario’s death.
