EL SERENO – Police Wednesday are searching for the suspect who shot a 33-year-old woman in El Sereno.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s Hollenbeck Division responded at 12:35 a.m. to the intersection of Templeton Street and Pueblo Avenue regarding a shots fired call.
When they arrived, they found a woman who had sustained at least one gunshot wound to the chest, according to an LAPD spokesman.
The victim told police she was walking along Templeton when she discovered that she had been shot.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department took the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
There was no suspect description.
