NORTHRIDGE – A motorcyclist was killed and three other people were seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle in Northridge Wednesday evening.
Firefighters responded to the 9900 block of Tampa Avenue, near Lassen Street, around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to reports regarding a severe collision involving a motorcycle, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Three people were taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics administering life-saving measures, Stewart said.
His name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
It was unclear what led up to the collision.
