BELLFLOWER – California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a possible hit-and-run collision Wednesday that left a man dead on the Artesia (91) Freeway in Bellflower.
CHP officers were called to the eastbound freeway and the Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday where they found the victim lying between two lanes of the freeway, according to CHP Officer Megan Curtis.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The CHP closed down three lanes of the freeway while they investigated the cause of the collision.
