LOS ANGELES – A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in front of an apartment building in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at about 6 p.m. Sunday in front of 826 W. 93rd St., according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department Operations Center.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital where he had stable vital signs, the officer said.
Suspect information was not available, he said.
The shooting was believed to be gang-related.
