LONG BEACH – A man was stabbed in Long Beach when he got into an argument and then fight with two male suspects, authorities said Friday.
The stabbing occurred at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Avenue and Anaheim Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The preliminary investigation revealed the man was riding his bike in the area when he got into an argument with two males that escalated into a physical fight, police said.
One of the suspects stabbed the man in the upper body, police said. The suspects fled the scene.
The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening wound by Long Beach Fire Department paramedics and he did not want to be taken to a hospital by ambulance, police said.
