LOS ANGELES – Police are investigating a car-to car shooting in South Los Angeles that left one man dead.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 9:14 p.m. Friday to Florence Avenue and Broadway regarding a shooting.
When they arrived, the officers learned the victim was sitting in a vehicle on Florence when another vehicle drove up beside him and fired several shots, according to an LAPD officer.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect drove away in an unknown direction, police said.
The LAPD’s Central Homicide Bureau is investigating the shooting.
