LOS ANGELES – A group of suspects armed with knives and a gun are on the loose Friday after robbing a 7-Eleven store in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The robbery was reported after 12:20 a.m in the 9900 block of South Broadway and 99th Street, east of the Harbor (110) Freeway.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s Southeast Division responded to the scene regarding a burglary call after four to six masked suspects entered the store and demanded money from the cashier, according to LAPD Officer Charles Miller .
Miller said the suspects were between 18 and 20 years old.
Fox 11 reported the suspects stole about $500 from the store and sped away in a gold-colored sedan before the arrival of the officers.
No store employees were injured in the robbery.
