LOS ANGELES – Two women were killed and multiple people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in the Westmont neighborhood of Los Angeles, where one vehicle struck an electricity pole before crashing near a Chevron gas station.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 12:15 a.m. to Century Boulevard and Normandie Avenue Wednesday regarding a collision involving a sedan and a white Honda CRV, NBC 4 reported. The sedan crashed into a pole and the SUV sustained significant front end damage.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene and multiple victims was taken to a hospital in unknown conditions, according to CHP Officer Michael Nasir.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
