GLENDALE – Two people were in the hospital Wednesday after an ambulance collided with a Toyota Prius in Glendale, according to reports from the scene.
The crash was reported just before midnight on Tuesday near the intersection of South Central Avenue and West Colorado Boulevard and arriving Glendale Police Department officers learned the ambulance was driving a patient to a hospital when it collided with the Prius, KTLA 5 reported.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the crash and were taken to a hospital. It was not immediately known if the original patient who was being driven to the hospital sustained any injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
KTLA reported a power outage occurred at the time of the crash.
