LENNOX – A motorist driving northbound in southbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway caused a three-vehicle crash Monday including a head-on impact.
The crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. on at Imperial Highway, in the unincorporated Lennox area near LAX, and resulted in a SigAlert shutting down all southbound lanes. The HOV and two left lanes were reopened at 4:50 a.m. Remaining lanes were reopened at 5:02 a.m.
Two people were taken by ambulance to a hospital with unknown injuries, according to CHP Officer M. Curtiss.
