LOS ANGELES – A man is in custody after a woman reported being kidnapped late Tuesday night in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the North Hollywood Division responded to a report of a woman kidnapped by a man with a knife in a silver Toyota Camry around 10:30 p.m.
The woman was able to call 911 while inside the vehicle, prompting dispatch to track her phone’s location.
Officers located the vehicle near the intersection of Mulholland Drive and Coldwater Canyon where they initiated a traffic stop and took a male suspect into custody.
The woman did not report any injuries to authorities.
