LOS ANGELES – A woman in her 30s was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a Lamborghini whose driver apparently abandoned the luxury sports car at the scene in Hancock Park.
It happened at 1:25 a.m. at the intersection of First Street and Highland Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
The Lamborghini was traveling northbound on Highland when it collided with an eastbound vehicle whose driver was reported to be in critical condition at a hospital, Madison said.
A passenger, a woman in her 30s, was pronounced dead at a hospital, he said.
Police said a reward of up to $50,000 is available to members of the public who provide information leading to identification, apprehension or conviction in a fatal hit-and-run.
