LONG BEACH – A woman is in custody Saturday on suspicion of shooting a man in Long Beach and an investigation is underway.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at 10:02 p.m. Thursday to the 2100 block of East Anaheim Street regarding a shots fired call.
When they arrived, officers learned the suspect and a male victim were arguing inside a parked vehicle when the suspect shot him, police said.
The man left the area before police arrived and officers later found the suspect in her vehicle a short distance from the scene and arrested her.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
