INGLEWOOD – No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Wednesday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery.
Three tickets were sold matching five numbers but not the Powerball number in California, New York, and Washington D.C.
The tickets sold in New York and Washington D.C. are worth $1 million each.
The ticket in California was sold at a market in Rocklin in the 4500 block of Pacific Street and is worth $5,717,713.
In California, Powerball prize amounts are pari-mutuel, and will vary depending on ticket sales, number of winners, and will differ from the fixed prizes shown on the POWERBALL website.
The numbers drawn in Wednesday evening’s Powerball lottery were 5, 20, 29, 39, 53 and the Powerball number was 6.
The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing grows to $515 million.
