ONTARIO – A person was fatally shot outside a popular Ontario bar early Tuesday morning.
Ontario Police Department officers and Ontario Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a gunshot victim outside the Fire Water Bar & Grill located in the 1500 block of W. Holt Blvd. around 2:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers and firefighters found one victim on the ground in the parking lot near the front entrance of the establishment.
Paramedics immediately began administering CPR and despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity is being withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
There is no suspect description at this time and it is not known what led to the deadly shooting.
