LOS ANGELES – A 68-year-old man who was stabbed to death in an apartment in North Hollywood was identified Monday.
The stabbing occurred at 5:17 p.m. Friday in the 13100 block of Barbara Ann Street, near Ethel Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jader Chaves.
The victim was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene, Chaves said.
He was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Miguel Mariona.
A 37-year-old man was taken into custody as the suspect, Chaves said.
A motive for the stabbing was not disclosed.
