NEWHALL – A woman was found dead in Newhall and the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau was investigating the circumstances of her death Wednesday.
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station were called at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 21000 block of Nandina Lane regarding a welfare check. When they arrived, deputies found the victim, who was unresponsive, said Lt Michael Modica.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were contacted and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
