LONG BEACH – A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Long Beach, police said Monday.
Officers responded to the 6200 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. Sunday after reports of a person with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and took Dante Williams to a hospital, where he later died.
Homicide detectives have not determined a motive for the shooting, and no suspect description was provided.
