LANCASTER – A man was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday in a crash in Lancaster.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to reports of a severe traffic collision involving a motorcycle near the intersection of 10th Street West, north of Avenue I, around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday.
Further investigation revealed that a man riding a Honda dirt bike was traveling northbound on 10th Street West moments before colliding with a curb, causing him to become ejected from the motorcycle and slam into a street sign. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
