INGLEWOOD – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is assisting the Hawthorne Police Department Friday with its investigation of the death of a man in the unincorporated area of Inglewood.
Police were called at 9:25 p.m. Thursday to the 4700 block of West Imperial Highway, between Inglewood Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenues where they found the victim, according to LASD Lt. Michael Modica.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
